Our goal is not to exhaust all the issues related to the Philomaths’ activities, but rather to discuss topics related to this society and its members, in the form of a report on the current state of research. We propose the following topics for presentations:
– New research perspectives on the Philomaths’ Society and its dependent organizations.
– Philomaths and their works – publishing tradition and new editorial trends.
– Philomathic literature in a comparative context.
– Philomathic language.
– The Philomaths’ archive as an editorial problem.
We would also like to dedicate a separate conference session to the tools and practices used in digital humanities. We are interested in solutions that could be of use in linguistic and literary studies, particularly tools for digital editions.
